Services The Fluent Self CIC promotes and facilitates the use of Functional Fluency and TIFF by supporting its members and others through the following activities: licensing, training, promotion, funding, in order that they can pass on the benefits to a whole range of people working in human service provision and the commercial world.
This facilitation of improved communication and positive relationship building is carried out through teaching & facilitation, coaching & mentoring, training & supervision, counselling & psychotherapy, according to members' professional remits.
Susannah Temple PhD, CTA (E) is the creator of the Functional Fluency model and the Temple Index of Functional Fluency (TIFF).
In a long career in education, she has worked in a wide variety of settings including being a primary and secondary schools counsellor for seven years.
She designed and taught the educational TA modules on the Integrated Masters Programme of the Faculty of Arts and Education at the University of Plymouth over a ten-year period.
Her doctoral research that produced TIFF won an EATA silver medal in 2003. Since then she has been working to promote the use of Functional Fluency wherever possible.
